The Financial District is also known as FiDi and is located in Lower Manhattan. If you are a young professional wanting to venture into the financial world then this is the neighborhood for you as Fidi is the land of Financial Centres which includes the main financial regulatory authorities offices and financial utilities which are the stock exchanges.
Lifestyle
Financial District is considered to be the most historically rich neighborhood in New York City, one of which is due to the 9/11 attack that happened in the World Trade Center. It is the home for young professionals having its fast-paced atmosphere during the daylight and a little bit relaxed during the night time.
Benefits
Upside
Another neighborhood which has an easy commute to all travelers. There are a lot of ferry options to choose from and others are fortunate to have experienced it for free on weekends.
Downside
Considering it is the heart of financial centers, it is evident to have street noises as a result of its busy streets and city life. As for the adventure, we know that Wall Street and New York Stock Exchange are one of its pride, however tours can’t be done on the inside.
